More than Music e.V. promotes cultural projects that use music as a means of social understanding and artistic expression. The focus is on initiatives that combine creative collaboration, intercultural exchange and social responsibility — whether through cross-genre festivals, musical bridges between cultures or concerts in spiritual spaces.
XJAZZ is cancelled. The music still connects us.XJAZZ fällt aus.
The short-notice withdrawal of funding has led to the cancellation of XJAZZ! Festival 2026. We are deeply saddened. It affects artists, audiences and the many people whose work and commitment made this festival possible.
More Than Music e.V. has been closely connected to XJAZZ and its community for years. As supporters of independent culture, we want to help keep encounters and music possible, even now.
From 8 to 11 October, independently organised concerts and events will therefore take place in Berlin, including performances by artists who were meant to play XJAZZ. The responsible promoter is listed with each event.
Got an XJAZZ ticket? Then you're in. Your existing ticket gets you into all marked events – free of charge and without reservation. Just show your XJAZZ ticket at the door.
This invitation is an additional offer from the respective promoters. You don't have to give up any rights from your XJAZZ ticket purchase. Information about the festival cancellation and these rights will be sent to you separately by XJAZZ.
As soon as we learn whether and how XJAZZ will continue, we'll share it here and in the XJAZZ Friends newsletter.
More Than Music e.V. ist XJAZZ und seiner Community seit Jahren eng verbunden.
